It takes a wide range of skills and a lot of hard work to get a customer experience that sets us apart. Behind our stores and supporting them in everything they do are the following teams.
Trading is made up of Buying, Buying Support, Marketing, PR and Corporate Social Responsibility. The Buying teams make sure all our products are available at the right quality, quantity and price. Buying support provides analysis and data to help the Buying team make the right decisions for for their categories. Marketing communicate key messages to our customers by producing exciting and creative campaigns in line with our brand. PR and Corporate Social Responsibility are key areas we’re looking to develop in order to support our future growth. Example roles include Buying Manager, Graphic Design and Marketing Manager.
Our Finance team drives the financial efficiency throughout Booths. They work across every area of the business and are accountable for everything from managing financial controls to analysing business performance. Example roles include Financial Controller, Management Accountant and Purchase Ledger Clerk.
IT & Supply Control
Technology is integral to the business. From processing payments, to monitoring supply levels, our IT teams are constantly creating new systems to support our internal and external customers. Managing supply is just as important. Without enough supply, production and sales would grind to a halt. Supply Control ensures that the business has enough stock of the right quality, at the right time. Example roles in IT & Supply Control include Supply Control Manager, Analyst Developer and IT Support.
The Loss prevention team investigates any losses we suffer as a business. They create a safe and secure environment for our customers and staff, working closely with local authorities and the Police. The team is also responsible for installing security equipment such as CCTV, while providing data and KPI’s on losses across the company. Example roles include Loss Prevention Investigator.
Human Resources (HR)
HR Handle everything from assisting Managers with employment law, to creating recruitment and training tools to developing future talent and working closely with they key leaders to decide on the business strategy. The Central Services team sits within HR and is responsible for the effective running of our Central Office facility, from maintaining telephone systems, to providing catering and assisting with the set-up of new stores. Example roles within HR include HR Officer; Learning and Development Business Partner, Central Services Manager and Catering Assistant.
